Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how FHB Tech Services ("FHB Tech Services," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the DeenFlow mobile application ("DeenFlow," the "App"). By using DeenFlow, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account information

When you create a DeenFlow account, we collect your email address and, depending on how you sign up, information from the authentication method you choose: Apple (Sign in with Apple), Google, or an email and password you set directly. We also collect profile details you add voluntarily, such as your display name, gender, date of birth, and timezone.

Profile photo

If you choose to add a profile picture, DeenFlow uploads the photo you select or capture to our storage provider and associates it with your account.

Prayer and dhikr activity

DeenFlow lets you manually log the status of your daily prayers (for example, on time, missed, or made up) and track dhikr/tasbeeh counts you record in the app. This activity data is stored against your account so it can be shown back to you across sessions and devices.

Location permission

DeenFlow asks for permission to access your device's location. As of this version of the App, this permission is requested in advance so that a future prayer-time calculation feature will not require an additional prompt — DeenFlow does not currently use, transmit, or store your location. If a future update begins using location data (for example, to calculate local prayer times), we will update this Privacy Policy before that feature is enabled.

Device and local data

DeenFlow stores some information locally on your device, such as your session and your reminder preferences, using on-device storage. Scheduled reminders (for example, a periodic nudge to log your prayers) are generated and delivered entirely on your device and are not sent to or through any server.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

To be clear about the current scope of the App, DeenFlow does not:

• Use any third-party analytics or crash-reporting service.
• Use any artificial intelligence or machine-learning service to process your data.
• Send push notifications to your device (reminders are scheduled locally on-device only).
• Include advertising or ad-tracking technology.
• Sell your personal information to anyone.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

• Create and maintain your DeenFlow account and authenticate you when you sign in.
• Provide the App's core features, including prayer-logging and dhikr tracking.
• Display your profile photo and details back to you within the App.
• Deliver locally scheduled reminders you configure.
• Respond to support requests you send us.
• Maintain the security and integrity of the App.

4. How Information Is Stored

DeenFlow's account data, prayer and dhikr activity, and profile photos are stored using Supabase, a third-party backend platform that provides our database, authentication, and file storage. Supabase acts as our data processor and stores this information on our behalf; we do not operate our own servers for this data.

5. Third-Party Sign-In

If you sign in with Apple or Google, those providers process your authentication according to their own privacy policies. DeenFlow receives only the information needed to create and identify your account (such as your email address and a unique identifier) — we do not receive your password for these providers.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and activity data for as long as your account remains active, so that DeenFlow can continue to provide its features to you. If you delete your account (see Section 7), your data is deleted as described below.

7. Account and Data Deletion

You can permanently delete your DeenFlow account at any time from within the App, under Settings → Delete Account. Deleting your account removes your profile, profile photo, prayer and dhikr activity, and related account records from our systems, and clears the App's locally stored data and scheduled reminders on your device. This action cannot be undone. If you're unable to access the App, you can also request deletion by contacting us — see Section 11.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, in addition to the right to delete your account described above. DeenFlow does not currently offer an automated data-export tool; to request a copy of your information, contact us using the details in Section 11 and we will respond to your request.

9. Children's Privacy

DeenFlow is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including as DeenFlow's features change. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continuing to use DeenFlow after a change means you accept the updated policy.
